I need help researching how people are biased against fat people
I have to write a final paper and I am not sure how to research my topic. Can you help me?

As I am sure you understand, in writing your paper it is important to avoid terms that have a negative impact on the body image or self-esteem of other people and write about everyone with respect.
To find Books on your topic, go to the Library Homepage click on Books.
- Use neutral keywords in the Catalog search box
- Body image
- Body size
- Discrimination against overweight persons.
- Results will be a list of books and how to access them.
For more books, go to MeL (Michigan eLibrary)
- Use neutral keywords in the MeL search box
- Body image
- Body size

- Sizeism
- Weight bias
- Results will be a list of books.
- Use your HFC username and password to access
- Request books be sent to HFC from other libraries
To find Articles on your topic:
- Go to the Library Homepage click on Articles.

- Use the same neutral keywords in these databases
- Limit your searches to "full text" if this option is available.
- Open articles by clicking on the name of the article
