Thank you for your question about needing help with Math.  You don't mention what type of help you needed, so I've included information on how to search for books and articles, links to some math websites that have videos, lessons, and practice tests, and information on how to contact the HFC Learning Lab for tutoring assistance.  

Try searching for the type of math you are interested as a keyword such as:

  • Algebra
  • Geometry
  • Calculus
  • Basic mathematics
  • Trigonometry

For Books, search the Catalog.  Use your keywords in the search box; your results will be a list of books and how to access them.  

For Articles and eBooks, from the Library Homepage click on Articles to access the library's research databases.

(As of fall 2022, you no longer need an HFC library card (barcode) to access the library’s databases from off campus.  Please use your HFC username and password to log in.)

To sign up for online tutoring, visit the Learning Lab webpage and click on Tutoring Appointments, then scroll to the bottom of the page and select either Signing up for online tutoring or Signing up for in person (face-to-face) tutoring.  Online tutoring is available 24/7 via NETTUTOR.  In person tutoring is available from HFC staff during lab hours.
